How We Craft Our All-Natural Flavor Formulations

Posted on February 05, 2018

Cirkul was started by two health-conscious athletes, so we take meticulous care in choosing flavoring options that will taste great and deliver nutrients your body needs. But what does that really mean?

Well, it means we have done our due diligence in the R&D department. We started choosing flavors for Cirkul back in 2014. It was a long and arduous, but ultimately rewarding, process which entailed scrutinizing the beverage industry, finding out which flavors were already out there, and then doing our own pilot testing. Then, we performed our own research on over thirty samples of different flavors and combinations to determine the ten flavors that we currently offer.

LifeSip, which contains nutritious vitamins: Fruit Punch, Coconut Pineapple, Sweet Tea & Lemon, Raspberry Lemonade, Berry Pomegranate.

FitSip, which contains replenishing electrolytes: Mixed Berry, Orange Tangerine, Lemon Lime.

GoSip, which contains healthy energy: Strawberry Watermelon, Black Cherry.

All the flavor formulation ideas are created by the Cirkul team in house, but we’re also proud to be able to partner with flavoring experts in Kentucky, who make all the important finishing touches on our customized flavor cartridges. In giving you tastes you love, we deeply value supporting local American businesses.

What’s different about Cirkul that you won’t see in other mainstream brands is the idea that we see ourselves first and foremost as a delivery system. We want to help people stay hydrated with a customizable, clean and convenient system. Also, all our flavors are all natural. They don’t contain sugar, so you don’t have to worry about the sugar overdose you risk with other flavored beverages. They are also zero calories and most importantly--no artificial coloring! We’re really proud of this fact. If you take a second to look at the flavored water coming from your Cirkul, you’ll see that even though it has taste, it’s still totally transparent like water. Sneaky, right? Well, there’s nothing sneaky about it. Just try it for yourself.
